What does it mean to have no fear about doing what you do?

To write a book. To make a movie. To dance.

It means numbness and out-of-touchness.

Don't do that. Feel everything.

Feel the fear and do it anyway. Oh god, that could be on the back of a sports t-shirt.

But still.

Many are afraid of being contradictory. Of not being right. Of changing their mind.

But you're alive, right?

We'll make mistakes. They're baked into the process of art-making. What's not pre-determined is what you're actually doing. That, you have to make happen.

Jump and trip. Feel the pain and keep going anyway.
